History
Born from real challenges — the stigma of seeking mental health support, the struggle of diaspora clients finding trusted legal help, and the need for reliable digital tools for professionals — The Plaintiff is the result of a desire to create ethical, accessible, and dignified solutions.
Why I Built The Plaintiff
Over time, I observed and personally felt the deep stigma attached to seeking help for mental health, relationships, marriage, abuse, and personal struggles. In many societies, people are ashamed to speak openly or visit a therapist. There were moments when I myself needed professional help but held back, not because it wasn't necessary, but because of fear, shame, and the absence of a safe, private option.
That experience sparked a simple but powerful question: What if people could access professional mental health support anonymously, without fear or judgment? From that question came the foundation for a platform that allows users to chat privately with verified mental health professionals.
As a lawyer, I also encountered another recurring problem — friends in the diaspora who urgently needed legal support but struggled to find trusted attorneys remotely. This inspired the legal arm of the platform. Beyond law and mental health, I am a strong advocate for education and workforce development, which shaped the inclusion of teachers and tutors. The Plaintiff is therefore not just a platform, it is the result of real challenges, real gaps, and a desire to create ethical, accessible, and dignified solutions.

Founder & CEO
Zion Walter Ndife is a Nigerian lawyer, education advocate, and workforce development advocate, and the Founder of The Plaintiff, a professional services and opportunity platform designed to make expert support more accessible, affordable, and human-centered.
Azode Nnagozie Gabriel
Head, Marketing Secretariat
Azode Nnagozie Gabriel is a business development and marketing professional with a strong background in strategy, security consulting, and human relations. He holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Abuja and is a certified consultant in Counter-Terrorism and Risk Management.
Lawrence Uruakpa
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
A seasoned Cloud and DevOps Engineer with over five years of experience designing, securing, and operating scalable cloud infrastructure, primarily on Microsoft Azure. He brings deep expertise in cloud operations, DevOps practices, cloud security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and a working knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and cloud-based AI services.
